TOGETHER WITH THE MOST — THE CLUB FOR YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS — VENTURECLUB OPENED A LOCAL OFFICE IN ALMATY.

Almaty — on of the most upswing cities in Asia — was chosen as a VentureClub headquarter in Kazakhstan. The country itself is a promising place for Russian and foreign investors: both from the quality of investment projects and government’s legal and economic efforts point of view.

Interests of a closed network of business angels will be represented by Zinaida Pak and Pavel Koktyshev from the MOST, club for young entrepreneurs. The official name of the local office is “VentureClub MOST”.

“Opening an office in Kazakhstan will help VentureClub angel community to gain access to the most interesting Kazakh projects and coinvest with local angels. And for Kazakh business angels VentureClub is a handful tool for syndication with Russian business angels in the best projects of Russia and Belarus. I’m sure that Pavel with his huge experience in business will raise the culture of syndicated deals in Kazakhstan on a new level. We are happy to have such worthy partner in the region,” — said Alexander Borodich, founder of VentureClub and business angel.

Soon business events and educational masterclasses by VentureClub experts will be organized in Almaty — such intensive beginning can easily supercharge venture investing in the region or the country.

“Since it’s foundation 5 years ago, MOST created unique branch community from more than 7 thousand entrepreneurs, investors and industry experts in Kazakhstan, so the idea to develop venture investing didn’t come out of nowhere, you can say that our active membersinvestors pushed us to this decision”, — said Zinaida Pak, cofounder and director of the Club for young entrepreneurs.

Apart from special conditions of membership, VentureClub will allow it’s local office to use exceptional opportunities of search and attraction of business angels to projects (including the right to use VentureClub’s digital system). What’s more, VentureClub will support its Kazakh partner with informational (through federal media) and organizational (through consultations about structuring venture deals on special conditions) means. Finally, educational events for the professional development of investors and supporting specialists of Kazakhstan are planned to take place both in Moscow and Almaty.

For VentureClub, Almaty is an area of interest with inimitable development dynamic which allows attracting more Kazakh businessmen to venture investment and help more innovative projects to make a statement.
